Our Career Coach, Mrs. Terra Price, had the honor of serving as the guest speaker at this month’s Semmes Chamber of Commerce meeting. Several of our student ambassadors were also in attendance, where they had the opportunity to network with local businesses and learn more about what’s happening in the City of Semmes.
Mrs. Price shared the importance of community involvement in our schools and highlighted upcoming opportunities for businesses to engage with students, including our Mock Interviews and Resume Workshop.
A special thank you to the Semmes Woman’s Club for inviting Mrs. Price to speak and to Piggly Wiggly for providing a wonderful lunch.
We are so thankful for the continued support of our community as we work together to prepare students for future success! If you would like to support our students, please use this link and our Career Coach will contact you. https://forms.gle/qxMEY7nDn7S51tKu5

Carson Couie and Piper Cannon were nominated by their teachers to represent their class as the students of the month!
When asked to describe Carson, his teachers said, “Carson is a positive influence and always brings laughter to the classroom! He is so sweet and consistently has a smile on his face.”
Piper Cannon’s teachers said, “She is a hardworking, kind student who shows the utmost respect to her peers and teachers.”
Both of these students represent Viking VALOR, and we are happy to recognize them as the Freshmen Students of the Month for September.
